I have a banana plant I want to bring inside for the winter. It is not cold hardy. It's in about a 5 gallon container about 3 to 4 feet tall. I tipped it over and noticed roots coming out of all the holes in the bottom. Should I put this in a bigger container or just cut the roots off and leave it as is until the spring? Thanks ellen!
