I have recently seen a beautiful grove of mature (30 years) blue bamboo! To describe it -- 35 to 45 feet high,1&1/2 to 2 inch culms with no leaves on the lower 10 to 15 feet of each culm. The owner of the property has no information concerning the grove. He bought the property when it was mature. Does anyone have an idea of which bamboo this is? P.S. The BLUE is BLUE NOT just hirsute!!!
