They look like honeybees, perhaps you can find out of a local bee club
or bee keeper who is willing to pick it up, this might be a easy one
to take down...right into a bag, then into a box, just don't keep it long
in a air tight bag. If the smell might attract other bees, you could spray
some bee go...just be careful and don't use much, it's very smelly stuff
from what I've herd and stay's for very long.

Yep, those are honey bees.
Call your counties ag commissioner and they should have a list of beekeepers who may want them. Tell the beekeepers that you speak with that it is an easy grab in the open under the eaves of a house and it is definately honeybees.
If your ag commissioner doesn't have a list of beekeepers, try an add on craigslist.

They're not likely to build comb out in the open like that (it does happen...but not often). They'll be gone in one to three days - even if you do nothing.

Thanks everyone. Unfortunately this story has a sad ending. I located a beekeeper on Tuesday and he planned to pick them up Wednesday morning. When I returned home the swarm was gone. I canceled the beekeeper but found the bees again the next morning. They had moved across the way and up into my neighbor's roof. Long story short, the bees were dead by 6:15 this morning.

At least I made a friend and learned a bit about bees in the process. Sorry I couldn't save these ones.
