okay so there hops..

according to the name the plant people i am growing hops. i winter sowed 3 plant,but not quite sure how as i had no seeds labeled hops.while i do like the leaves,i don't know if i want to keep these around.does anyone grow hops.i do cottage garden and it sure sounds like it should belong.anyone have any pics of full grown or flowering? thanks

We grow hops because my husband is a home brewer. I thought I had a better photo than the one I've included, but I can't find it at the moment.

If you decide you don't want to grow hops, be very thorough removing it. It spreads like wildfire and will sprout from just the littlest bit of rhizome.

Be careful with a hops vine. Besides being difficult to remove they get huge and will climb anything in their path.
