I came across this in a posting from a woman in Hawaii. She has it growing in her backyard. It really is a nice little tree. She said it gets to 5-6ft tall and produces the best tasting sweet bananas she has ever had.

Now, I have my heart set on getting one but she cannot dig up a pup. She has it planted in a bed that is covered with 5 inches of gravel. That making it almost impossible for her to dig up.

I have looked all over the internet trying to find someone who sells this variety. She emailed me and told me that she has never heard it called manzano. She said in Hawaii it is sold as 'Dwarf Apple' banana.

Has anyone here ever heard of it or know anyone that sells it, or grows it?? I would be willing to pay for a pup if someone has it.
