Hi - recently I've been seeing copious numbers of what appear to be yellow-jackets in my house. Most that we encounter are dead although some are alive. Most of both the dead and alive variety can be found close to windows. My suspicion is that they have come into the house through a sophet (sp) and may be in the rafters.

I'm looking for constructive suggestions on how to deal with this. I realize that 'calling an exterminator' is an option but I'm concerned that doing so will result in significant amounts of chemicals pumped into the house - which is old - which will affect our family. I'm interested in both the elimination of the problem and a 'green' solution - in other words a solutions that is kind to both us and the environment. Thank you in advance.
