Possibly OXYTENANTHERA braunii aka WINE BAMBOO. Young shoots are cut off to produce sap that is fermented for "wine" in Tanzania.

It's one of the name brand Chinese rice wines, quite popular in southern china, it means green bamboo leaf wine :) just the name of it has anything to do with bamboo :) Happy new year to every one in the forum!! kentuck, your wildturkey tastes much better than that one :))

Rogertse,
On the sticker in the back of the bottle there is an inscrpption:
"Alkoholishes getraenk aus bambus"
Maybe they don't know what they sell :))

Alkoholishes getraenk aus bambus translates to, "alcoholic beverage made from bamboo". I don't know why all of the different languages are on the bottle.
