The larger flowered tuberous begonias are unsurpassed in shady conditions. Tubers can be started indoor under flourecent lights or from seed. Easy to grow. Hybrid tuberous begonias usually comes in solid colored rose forms (camelia shaped) and the ruffled (carnation shaped) although many variations are possible. I am especially fond of the picotee types.
