Wow. I didn't know there were scented ones. So did you pot them up?

I bought a package of two but tried to see thru the wrapping if the 'eyes' were showing, that can save a lot of time if they are visible, but I couldn't be sure so I just crossed my fingers. When I got home and inspected them the little pink starts were showing and they are coming along fine now, not potted too deeply yet because I think they need more heat at this stage. They are not very large tubers, but look fine.

Well, here's hoping they continue to work out well for you. Some Wallyworld things do okay, some not so well. Seeing into the package is a help.

My Wallyworld has them too. All the breast cancer stuff is pink. If the begonias are correctly labeled, does that mean they're "Pink Scentiment"?

I may have to try a pack. "Pink Scentiment" sounds like a nice one based on this thread.

I have bought some of the breast cancer "pink" hippiastrums, and they were pink, but they weren't the name on the label. So I don't know if this will be what you are hoping for. I hope it is, because the photo on that thread you posted edie was really pretty.

Tried the pink tuberous myself this year. Too good a discount price, at $1.50, when I checked WalMart this spring. One is more the pink type, the other being a white/lemon/pink blush on petal tips&back. Enjoy the lemon/oitrus odor, but haven't had the flowering power I'd hoped. Maybe more sun needed; don't think fertilizer is the problem. Have had better luck with these, here in western NC, than I did with 'Show Angels' from seed years back.

Grew beautifuly for me but I could not detect any scent, even waiting until the day grew warm. I am not going to give up, I think the key might be to put them in an enclosed or protected corner.
