Hi,

we had a really funny winter here with alternating hot weeks and cool/cold and some of my begonias just died down. However, I'm wondering if they need a dormancy period before I try to wake them up or am I okay to go. I also have a B & L begonia, "Charlotte" that is still blooming (with flowers & Buds) that never died and a couple of unnamed ones from the same store that have fewer, but still a lot of leaves. What should I do with them? If I don't let them rest, will the tubers get spent? Thanks. I never had this problem before as the begonias usually just die out and go dormant on their own.
