Anacharis temperature??

my Anacharis will be arriving in a few days but im worried my pond is still too cold, the temp varies about 47-58 degrees (it got chilly the past few nights) is it too cold to put in the pond? my water lettuce has frost bite, does that recover? the edges got brown and it looks like it has shrunk

I leave anacharis in my pond all year. The water does not freeze but it gets cold from November until the spring warm up. Anachris grows wild in the streams and rivers all over Alabama and these waters can get rather cold in the winter as well. It needs no special protection.
