Did I fry my begonias? Begonias have large brown spots on leaves, with thinning where the spots are, some large white spots with thinning where the spots are.These are tubarose begonias. Plants are in pots outdoors in the sun.
Is this terminal? Should I remove the browned leaves?

Start a new thread princes if the topic changes. Anyway, move your tuberous begonias to a shady spot, make sure that they are not dried out (don't keep them soggy wet in other words and remove the worst leaves. When they regain vigor and new leaves flush out, then slowly acclimate them to a bit more sun but not full hot sun.

Wow Fred. Wonderful collection there. They all look so healthy. Do you keep any of them outside? If so which are your larger begonias?

Thanks, Nancy! I've just put almost all of my begonias (ALL rexes outside, some rhizomatous inside, some out). McDole suggested I do that for humidity, as I was experiencing drying of all new growth. That really helped them a LOT (thanks, Butch).

My bigger specimens are Lorrain Closson/Black Beauty, and Art Hodes/Boomer (never quite sure which they are). But so far they love being outside. I do spray them 1-3 times a day with a compressed pump sprayer (type used for spraying pesticides) to keep up the humidity.
