That looks like a grape leaf skeletonizer. BT will control it. I would be sure to have some on hand next year. Inspect your grape plants carefully and apply as soon as you see any telltale damage, caterpillars, or the eggs.

Yup, exactly what haname said above. BT works really well if you catch them when they first hatch/start eating your grapes. BT=bacillus thuringiensis

I have grape vines here in yuma.
My bug problems are grasshoppers and leaf hoppers.
The solution to my problem is diatomaceous earth.
I use NATURAL GUARD mixed with water and spray it on the foliage.When dried it should have a white powered look.
Its non toxic.a good organic solution.
It kills any crawling insect,and can be used inside or outside.
I also spray my garden plants and tomatoe plants,NO MORE BUGS

My condolences on your grape leaf skeletonizer invasion. The tecomas around town got eaten up by another kind of caterpillar, but one that also was treated (read killed off) effectively with BT. Since my first experience with the skeletonizers a few years ago I've always kept BT on hand ...... you'll use it and it's well worth the time it takes to spray your plants. The good news is that your grapes and tecomas should leaf out just fine in the spring!
