I think we really need a little more information to be of any help. Such as: what kind of begonias are they? what conditions are they growing under like sun/shade, wet/dry, large or small pots, kind of potting mix--anything that gives us a place to start.

These are non-stop begonias along with trailing type. The pot they are planted in are pressed fiber pots and the water extra water from watering just runs out. I water them twice each day. It is over a 100+ degrees here now. I have them hanging in dapple shade with morning sun (sun until about 9:30a.m. Full shade by 3:00p.m. The are in 10 inch pots (3 to a pot). I planted them in a good brand of potting soil. Do you think I am over watering them???????

Oh gee. What I don't know about tuberous begonias would fill a book. I used to grow them a lifetime ago when I lived on the other side of the mountains, but they melt in our heat. I'm guessing your heat is the problem, tho' since it's dry as opposed to humid like we have here--I don't know how that would change things. I would think total (bright) shade might help, and if the water just runs through you may not be getting the center of the pot moist. Mostly, tho', I think it's probably just too hot. Never gets hot in Chehalis, where I grew up.

Thanks for the info. I did put them in the shade, and quit watering them so much. They look a lot better. The funny thing is that only one begonia out of the three in the pot died. Who can say? I guess they didn't like what I was doing to them. Thanks again. Hummingbird.
