As long as the light and air movement are good enough they should do fine (but I would probably mount them in some kind of moss or some substrate for their roots). The light would probably be the biggest worry for me. And attaching the bromeliads might be best just to mount with a fastener (shade cloth, wire, etc) and cover with something to make it look better. I can imagine getting the plants to anchor themselves might be tough.
