I love the effect of the differant coloured crypts in the pot, your Tiger has great looking bands even if it hasn't coloured as much as you would have liked.

hi Bromadams,

my passion received plenty of sun from morning till late afternoon, no shade cloth. Right now, the weather is super hot and i think it is going to be bleach by the sun soon. I saw those white patches on the leaves this morning.

I think I'd be staying home also if I had all those beautiful well grown plants to drool over when ever I wanted to. Really outstandingly neat, clean, tidy, well grown plants.

In your second last pic you say "most of the time, the garden is in a mess". Wow what a mess! even the pink hose colour blends in beautifully with the plant colours, you certainly have an eye for colour presentation.

As for pic 13 "ID?", it looks a bit similar to some of my concentrica seedlings from my first ever lot of babies, grown under 50% shade cloth. So maybe a concentrica hybrid of some sort.

I don't think pic 15 is Rosea Striata, the radial lines are not as pronounced and the leaves are not as wide. This is a pic of my 3/4 grown Rosea Striata pup before the centre really coloured up for comparison.

I must agree that your DeRolf looks superb! And your Justin's Song also looks sunning, but totally different with those almost solid red leaves. Is it also growing in the sun?

And your Scarlet Charlotte and Voodoo Doll and all your other Groves' hybrids, do you also grow them in the sun like Passion or do they just get bright light? No wonder my Passion stays green as it does not get any direct sun at all!

Your Princess Di's colour is very nice, but have you tried growing it where Lorena grows to get those nice concentric bands? By the way, if you like Princess Di, you'll love Tropical Twist!

WOW Japie, your 'Tropical Twist' is stunning!

It looks so much better than my 'cherokee Rose'. I must remember to order this in future!

'Justin Song' is growing in direct sun, this one can take long hrs of sun and is one of the hardy ones around.

Groves' hybrids are grown in bright light, with 2-3 hrs of direct sun. Actually, all my neos are grown in bright light with at least 2 hrs of direct sun as I don't have a shade cloth but I do have some plumerias around them.

I think Passion needs some sun as Lyndi grows it under a shade cloth and the colour is not as bright.

Princess Di is still quite small, so I'm expecting it show more colours and banding as it matures.

Hope to see more pics from your 'huge' garden too!!

Re-looking through these again - it is inspiring to see such beautiful looking, well grown broms - one day I too will grow broms that look that good! Though I am also glad you admit to not showing some of yr hidden, "not so nice" broms hehe

Nev - the concentrica hybrids look great - particularly 1 and 3.
