Hi, Susan! Good to see you! It's Hippi Season once again, and I think a lot of us are doing some re-potting, rearranging, and getting ready to share another season of beautiful photos!

Susan is a nice variety... I can't remember which pink our local stores have this year... I think it might be Vera.

Hi Susan! Glad to see you back!

You have to have a Susan bulb! I was excited about them at Lowe's too. Hurry up and get you one, they did not have many on the shelves at all. Maybe a try-it-out sorta thing...who knows!

Let the blooms begin!

I love it when all my friends check back in! Yeay, Its Hippy Season!

I did not plant hippies today, I plante 8 crates of early tulips, hyacinths (double layered with the tulips) and dutch iris, and got them tucked away to chill until New Years Day, when I bring the first crates in under the lights. IT felt so good to get out and get this done. Had the first day with sunshine in weeks!

Our good weather is still holding, so I'll be out there today getting the final winter preparations done... and getting the last few handfuls of allium and tulip bulbs planted.

We got a super deal on a bag of 100 green viridiflora tulips, and I'm still trying to get those planted... along with a large amount of cerulean blue drumstick allium.

Geeeeeeze, listening to all of you. Down here we have been begging for some fall weather. The hottest, dryest and longest summer in my 33 years in SW Florida. Today FINALLY I am shivering at my desk, windows open and wearing a sweater...it is a chilly 66 degrees with NO sunshine for a change!

Hi Susan, nice to see you. It is nice having cooler weather after the long long hot summer.

Oh Cindee, a chilly 66? I could send some of this 46 your way! Though I agree any sunless day feels colder than it actually is. We've been in this wet cycle for awhile here and only had Sunday and Monday as a reprieve. Alana
