The obvious ones that come to mind are papilio, aulicum, reticulatum, nelsonii, calyptratum and most likely Chico or h. cybister. But of course, most of these are not dwarf, other than possibly reticulatum.

I know... you're wondering how they get those flowers that look like twirly pinwheels, me too!!

I'm sure there are many other more astute members of this forum will be able to identify more for you.

Thank you so much for responding. I did notice a lot of characteristics to the species you mentioned but for some reason, the smaller and more dainty looking blossoms almost gives me the impression that they are smaller (Sonatini-ish) growing. I'm sure I'm wrong since I have no basis or actual bulbs of my own to compare.

It is fair to assume that a considerable part of their original "material" was some clone(s) of H.evansiae with frilly edges.

I decided that it would be far more interesting to keep my lips sealed.
