Green Cups

I was at the dump the other day, and was thrilled to find a whole sleeve of 16 oz clear plastic cups. Perfect for winter sowing. But once I got home, I noticed they are "green cups" - biodegradable cups made out of corn products that you can throw in your compost pile. Supposed they will decompose in your compost pile in 45-60 days.

So - can I winter sow in these? Or will the cups disintegrate before the seeds sprout?

Here is a link that might be useful: Green Cups
