October Pics

Work is slow so I had the day off. Walked around my gardens. It has been 87 and 85 degrees and no rain. I looked around to see what is blooming. Most things are over for this year or wilted. I decided what still looked good is what I will winter sow more of next year.

Native asters. Bees love this plant

Blanket Flower. I have 3 kinds of these. I will also plant "oranges and lemons" for next year.

Verena bonariensis

Mixed petunias. I'll always have these in my gardens. The easiest thing to winter sow. I think every seed germinates.

Mexican sunflowers. My new favorite plant. Butterflies and hummingbirds love this plant.

Mixed zinnias. I love the two-tone flowers on the right.
