My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
Could this be Neoregelia Carcharodon 'Macho'? Does anybody have that plant and can compare. Mine is grown pretty much in full sun. Others machos I've seen are much greener. fred PS this baby is 3 feet across and over a foot high.
Wish I could offer some better help, but great looking neo! You seem to be on the mark with Carcharodon 'Macho', but I'm wondering if it could be Carcharodon 'Giant'? Reds and bronzes definitely get stronger with high sun exposure. Here's a giant, and if it were just a bit more tanned it would look just like yours: http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g16/jeromt/Neoregelia/NeocarcharodonGiant.jpg
