I'd sure like to cross that with Afterglow.

This is a plant I tried several times and just can't get it to perform optimally. Have yet to figure out what makes it tick...

It looks like Lisa's beauties like it high up close to the good light and it's certainly produced the desired result with the great colour.

Has it had any fertilizer at all, or have you starved it as well.

The picture doesn't do justice for the color. It had a mild dose of 1-7-6 last month. I'm hoping to get it crossed with Incendiary Delight.

Great color Gonz. Almost looks fake. I remember you telling us about that fertilizer in another post a while back. What is it (or where do you get it) again?

It's 'Cactus Juice' Andy. The drawback is it only comes in a pint bottle.

Wow, you grow it better than I do, Gonz. So tall! I may have to look for some Cactus Juice.

Lisa, I've always been fascinated by the differences in growth habits due to climatic conditions illustrated so often here. Some of our mates in the southern hemi have plants that we can't ever hope to replicate and vice versa. You've got stuff that makes my salivary glands dry up. BUT! Southern Cal can play Devil's advocate once in a while. I've heard folks say that what we consider common, everyday broms are special treats where they come from. Kinda like our fan palm, Washingtonia (the palm from hell), they CAN grow it, just not to it's fullest. Gotta love all the photos people show here, ya know?
