Hi, I currently live in the North East -(Massachusetts) not sure what zone. I have a small Bromeliad, I'm not sure what type. The leaves are beginning to curl- I'm sure this must mean something but I have no idea what. It's still in its original container n soil. I only water the very centre and put the pot in a larger pot of water and leave to stand for about 30-50mins. I only do this when you pick up the pot and the container is very light- meaning no water.

Is this ok? But if so, then why are the leaves curling?
