has anyone lost

seedlings due to freezes? If so, what where they?

Last year was my first year winter sowing. We had a warm December and most of January. Mid January to mid February we finally got our winter weather of freezing temps and some snow.

Most of the things that sprouted durning the warm spell of Dec. and Jan survived just fine. However, I did lose all the alyssum that had germinated. I also kept losing nasturtiums to cold snaps. Both the nasturtiums and alyssum were still in sealed containers when they died.

I'm curious to see what others have lost to freezes.
