I'm just reposting this picture to this thread. Any chance the stems will turn green once the flowers open?

ugh...my scapes are red!! I wouldn't imagine they would change.

On my photos of "Reggae" the mature scapes are green. But, as far as my memory allows, the scapes where the same red, as shown above, when they poked from the bulb. Thus, I am inclined to assume "the color will fade"

What's wrong with red scapes? I think they're beautiful! Enjoy the spectacle!

Palmfan, all the published photos seem to have green scapes, which might suggest that the bulbs we got are not truly H. Cyberspace.

We don't care too much for mislabeled bulbs!

There is nothing wrong with red stems, they are gorgeous!! Just makes one think that they have a mislabel when all photos of the same variety show green stems. Well shall soon see...

I have a ("Chico" x "Giraffe") x ("Chico" x H.papilio) in bloom, the scape of which IS red at the base and green towards the top.
