Thanks you all. I am really worried now. I can't get in touch with her but I talked to her babysitter (she is also raising her only grandchild) and she said they had transported him from Dothan, Alabama to Jacksonville, Florida so it must be bad. She said all she knew was that surgery was not an option and he was in pretty bad shape. Keep the prayers up. She will need lots of strength to get through this again so soon. I won't be able to go down there for a few months at the soonest but I will give her a long distance hug as soon as she can call me back.

I finally got to talk with her tonight. They are only giving her Dad 4 months to live and she has her hands full with work, school, him and the baby. I offered to go and help her but she said she would rather have me close by at the end so I will be saving for a trip to Alabama in a few months. Gotta quit buying plants for a while. Wish it was under better circumstances but I would sell a kidney if I had to do it to be there when she needs me and she wants me to be there for the funeral or as close to then as possible. She has been more than a best friend and sister to me and I can never repay her for all she did for me when I was having a hard time years ago. Gotta go check some airline rates and see what its going to cost so I can plan. This Hawaii trip is at a bad time. I wish I could cancel that but the tickets were not refundable. Keep the prayers up. She needs the strength to get through this tough time and said to thank you all. It means a lot to her. Her dad is so really going downhill fast and its got to be hard to watch and there is one vulture family member moving in already trying to grab all his stuff while he is in the hospital and she is having to deal with that too. So sad.
