Just a word of advice for you..If you've only germinated 10 of these seeds remember that unexplained things can happen to seedlings. You think 10 is a lot but I'd hate to see you regret your generosity a few months down the road. You might want to think about keeping a few more for yourself before you give them all away, as I know these seeds were probably hard to come by and you went through a lot to acquire them.
Any papilio cross is special so I wish you the best of luck with them as I'm sure many will want to take you up on your more than generous offer.

To each their own, which FOR ME, means
sow 100 seeds into one balcony box of 50 cm in length,
(well, provided you HAVE them, 100).
Anyway, whether you obtain 50 or 100 seedlings, select the "performers" which produce a good bulb, and numerous leaves, and broad leaves respectively, at best all good properties uniting in one seedling specimen YEAH!

Both packets have been claimed.

Thanks for the good advice. I would love to freely germinate dozens of seedlings, however I live in zone 7, and I must overwinter my hippeastrum bulbs in the sole south facing window in my house which gives me only about 4-5 feet of growing space, of which I am already overutilizing. True, seedlings take up little space, but they will in a year so I figure others can benifit from the rest.

Your seeds you sent me 2 or so years ago have been doing really well. I've been meaning to post a pic for you. I grow them in a self-watering container and they seem pretty happy. One of them seems a bit stressed though, as it sent up no less than 9 offsets so far!!
