I wouldn't worry, unless the bulb got mushy and died completely. Sometimes they decide to stay dormant for longer than their sisters. It is fine. My alfresco bloomed in two weeks. Lilac Wonder is still sleeping after two months.

Is Lilac wonder really lilac colored? I saw a picture of it once but it wasn't very clear, and I couldn't really tell.
I actually had one on back order but cancelled early fall.
I wish I hadn't, but on the other hand I did get several other really nice varieties pretty cheap at my local Amaryllis bulb company.
It would be neat if they had a pure purple amaryllis. I wonder why they don't.

Lilac Wonder is still sleeping. I don't expect bloom this year from it. Amazingly slow. I will have some pictures when it is in bloom. I planted Apple Bossom a month after I planted Lilac Wonder, and Apple Blossom is in bloom now. Lilac Wonder only shows the tip of the stalk peeking from the bulb. I am patient.

I bought three at the same time. Came with peat moss and a pot. Planted the same day. I have leaves but no buds.
