It's always exciting to see those new seedlings coming up, isn't it? I'll b e starting my spring seeds in about a month, right now numbering about 144 individual pots and some 1 gallon pots late in the spring (xerophytic trees).
Is that Oklahoma soil? So red :-) Good luck with them.

I put together a soil-less fast draining mix for all my plants. It looks red because of the haydite fines I sift on the soil to lightly cover the seed to help keep them moist.
