I don't know its cultivar name, but I agree with you, it should to be marginated. I saw another one with yellow-marginated pattern but the plant has some more grey-coloured, not as glossy green.

This is an albomarginated form of B. pyramidalis v. concolor. I know that other plant you're talking about, Stephania. It's a cv. of one of the other forms of pyramidalis but I don't know its name. I have never seen any flowers on that one.

BTW, I think it's okay to refer to 'Kyoto' as variegated. Technically I believe that variegates can be either marginates or mediopictas, but hardly anybody uses that last term. When I talk about variegates I'm refering to any kind of white or light colored striping, whether it's on the margins, down the middle, or striated. I don't know of any other term that you could use to cover it.
