Ferocactus ID?

I found this little guy at a nursery, I'm not sure what it is since it was unmarked. Is this a ferocactus?

Dear Antaeus,

Indeed, I believe you're correct - maybe a F. latispinus.

Antaeus,

I'm with Jeffrey. It is a Ferocactus latispinus, one of the most common Feros. And this is the easiest to grow. Yours needs 7-8 years to bloom and delight everyone.

Hi, Antaeus.

Yes, I have to agree with Jeff and Robi also...Fero. latispinus. It's a nice one, and it's still small, so you'll be able to watch it grow!
