For the last 3 years my curious cactus drops it's buds. They start out great then slowly turn brown & die. It's in a raised bed, sandy soil, watered about once a month in the summer and fertilized in Feb.with 16-16-16. We're in AZ. There are lots of cacti around it, they all flower and grow beautifully. I don't think it's related to water or soil because of this. Any other ideas? I keep trying to send pix but I can't figure out how to resize and copy & paste isn't working for me either. Tried again, maybe....
