Host for Silver-spotted Skipper

Greetings,

I'm a new butterfly gardener and am looking for a host plant for a Silver-spotted Skipper. I looked this guy up in the FAQ and found:

Silver-spotted Skipper

- Bean family, fabaceae

1. Amorpha fruticosa - desert false indigo

2. Robinia pseudoacacia - black locust

Both of these plants are labeled invasive or banned in my area. Are there any other plants anyone could recommend to attract more of these to my garden? He really was a cutie!

Lisa

P.S. So far I have identified 7 butterflies in my yard. If anyone has recommendations for host plants for these, I'd love to hear them as well.

American Copper

American Painted Lady

Spring Azure

Tiger Swallowtail

Pearl Cresent

Cabbage White
