Wow that is cool. Bet it would be hard to clean though. Looks like an amphibian habitat.

I have been wanting to make a terrarium for a long time. Not that nice of course, but big and prob without a cabinet around the top part. Prob. just a wood stand for it. I am gonna get a Jackson's chameleon one of these days.. I found and bought 2 books on them at the last used book sale I went to. DH said, "Oh Gawd!!" He doesn't want anymore reptiles. He already hates my dd's snake- too bad for him! LOL!

I saw a nice one at the exotic pet shop here a few years ago that was really pretty. It was just a large tank on a stand with the grow lights on top and had all sorts of frogs and lizards in there and really cool tropical plants. A teenager that used to work there designed it and it was so popular he quit and moved to austin and started a business designing custom ones for people. They said he was making an excellent living at it. He grew up with his dad making custom cabinets so he had that knowledge and a great design flare. I was really proud of him. He was 18 then so probably about 24 now. I saw him on the Central Texas gardens show one day. Its nice to see young people do well at something out of the ordinary.

Lynette I'd love chameleons but they require a good deal of upkeep. A large enclosure, lights, etc. You could probably have a nice outdoor set up and wouldn't need to worry about UV lights. I'll have to stick to geckos. There's someone here, at least there used to be that had an outdoor set up for chameleons. I just can't remember who.

No Lynette, I am not going to build one of these because I have nowhere to put it (and I am not that great at building things, lol. I might just make a small fishtank into a terarrium someday but even with that I don't know where I would put it. Maybe if my brother gets another lizard I will make it a really cool habitat.
