Its like this Mammillaria luethyi doubles its number of flowers every year. Today 15 open flowers, despite the cloudy and windy weather. A plant every cactus collector should have.

Pieter, it's beautifull. This summer we are going to Belgium (limburg) Does Deherdt have these kind of plants. M. luethyi and M. perezdelarosa etc.? If so I hardly can't wait. greetz hablu

De Herdt does have M. perezdelarosae from time to time, yes, but I never saw M. luethyi there. They often have M. theresae and M. deherdtiana as well. You should come to the ELK in september, you'll never have seen such a choice before. Or esle: several online nurseries offer them as well.

I have one of these but it's on it's own roots and just a solitary head.
It flowered last year and has a bud showing this year.
