I just bought a Bromeliad and have no idea what kind it is. I've done several searches and found lots of pictures of it but no names. Searched the aechmea site of about 300 or more types but didn't find it. I'm sure it is a popular, easy to care for variety as I bought it rather cheap at Walmart. It is almost two feet tall with slender leaves and a tall flower from the center that is what I would call magenta. They also had some yellow and pale cream colored ones. I'm not good at postng a picture, but thought some of you folks might know it's name from my description. Thanks for your help.
