'Is this a Sedum?'

I recently purchased this cute little succulent, unnamed, and have tried unsuccessfully to put a name to it by searching the Web and local reference library. It has the appearance of a Sedum, is very compact having a max. height of no more than 1". I wonder if SKS is able to help with a name, please?

I think it might be a close relative of a Sedum, a Crassula. I don't know my Crassulas very well. Perhaps a relative of Crassula rupestris.

I continue to think--a dangerous thing. Could this be a form of your plant?

Thankyou, Al, I do believe you are right, and thanks too for drawing my attertion to the sedumphotos site. I might even find a couple more here that I am unsure of.
I displayed the two pix in adjacent windows to the same size and apart from the red "stressing" of the gallery pix,
leaf form and growth characteristics appear very similar between the examples. Tres bon.
