Traditional stlye with raised panel: Wood grain would be nice.

Were it my home, I'd have the door and one sidelight replaced with a solid door (no window) with a sidelight on each side of the door, since there's room. I'd have the frame of the sidelights painted to match the rest of your home's trim (the existing beige-y color), and keep the door painted the color it is, or, perhaps a shiny dark brown or another contrasting color -- but I'd be really careful with that; you don't want too much more going on color-wise.

p.s. to above...I'd choose a six-paneled metal door.

I liked your advice.....but curious why you came back recommending a metal door. I'm shopping for ideas on a home build project for my front entry too. What I've learned is - solid wood is beautiful but you also must be OK with the maintenance.....Next choice (for me) is fiberglass wood grain / stained or painted because it may require less maintenance.....but not totally maintenance free. Last......is steel door for budget reasons - since it can also be dented. Please comment on opinion and / or edification - thanks everyone!

You said "any ideas are appreciated" so I'm suggesting that your home will jump in value a notch if your remove all the clumpy shrubbery, loose rock, gravel, and straight concrete walk. New plantings and a bit of landscaping is in order and will make a huge difference. Would also replace the downspout in the entry with something more esthetically pleasing like a rain chain.
