Well now you know how to post photo's you need to tell us the name of the nice vriesea you're showing us.

How did the leaf get broken? Trouble is when a leaf in that position gets broken there's not a lot you can do about it, unlike an outside leaf which can easily be removed.

You could make it look a little tidier though by trimming the dead bits off the end of the leaf and making it same shape as the other leaf tips. I'm told if you rub some lemon or Aloe Vera on the cut it won't go brown.

The name is Vriesea Lady K. Plant leaf has been damaged by unknown cause since I bought 2 month ago.

Origin form Peter Coyle of Torara Water.

Thank you for your sharing knowledge. Mostly in Thailand use red lime substitute for lemon or Aloe Vera.
