Here is the recent picture of my Mammillaria elongata crest that someone requested--quite some time ago, I'm afraid. My apologies for taking so long, and I would have sent the person a private e-mail if I could have figured out who it was. As you can see, after I removed a few cuttings from the sides, the "brain" spread out a bit and divided itself into two lobes. Too bad. I should have left it alone because the cuttings never took, either.
