Caterpillar Castle question.....

I have a quick question about the caterpillar castle offered by live monarch. Does the monarch caterpillar just pupate on the mesh at the top of the cage? Sorry if this is a "duh" question but I couldn't find info about it or google any pictures. Thanks in advance, Tony
