pnwjoy, without DNA testing you won't have the proper names. You should just call them by color unless you can to back to those that shared with you and see if they have a record of what they sent you?

Hi Karma.

I know it might be impossible to get their exact names. But I'd like to be able to say "Maybe" or "likely"
And having an idea of what they could be would help me in trying to figure out each of their needs as far as placement etc.
Do any of these look like any that any of you are growing?

Orange upper left and/or upper right: maybe charles grimaldi ??

(this is the one I know)

Here is a picture (If you can not see it in your email, you may need to go to the gardenweb site to view it on the message board)

I love the pink one you have (2nd one).
Any chance that you would could share some cutting material ? (I am not asking for the plant or a rooted cutting, but next time you prune, I would love to get a piece of wood wrapped in a moist papertowel) ??
(I would naturally return the favor).

pnwjoy & kdjoergensen, without proper DNA one can only guess what they are but again is this fair to who you trade with if you guess? This is how things get miss labeled and folks don't understand or care enough what types of problems they create for the Brugmansia World. So please if you didn't get your brugmansia with a proper name from a reliable source just call it by color.

Numbers 8 and 9 look like Frosty Pink, but I agree that you should ONLY trade them by color. It's okay to say "This looks similar to pics I've seen of X", but it's NOT okay to say "This is PROBABLY X", because the person you send it to is likely to then turn around and trade it and say "This IS X". See the problem?

And I too think the pink in number 2 is quite lovely!
