yuhuuuuuuuuuuuuu here I am :-) Now I can start collecting new favorites lol

Have the camera program installed and wanted to suprise you all with a picture....BUT...the batterie died while trying to upload ...later tonight!!

Now I am going to set up the e mail program. Still a few glitches. Out of the 5 speakers, the 2 rear ones don"t give off any sound yet.

But now I finally have it all in ONE place. Even the printer and THAT is so wonderful to be able to print things off the internet again.

ooops I better go and make sure all the virus programs etc are updating lol

It feels like I was gone 4FR!

Lucy, Good luck with your new 'puter!!! Once you have it running smoothly it will give you more time to spend in the garden! Speaking of the swine flu...I picked up my friend at the airport today. He just returned from Manila, Philippines via Guam, Hawaii and Texas. He came out wearing a mask and I am thinking oh no....what does he have and am I going to get it??? He was just wearing the mask as a precaution. Phew!!!! Better safe than sorry!

Joyce I know it sounds real bad. I am glad that it was just a precaution he took. That is not something anybody needs to get. We are way to busy getting our gardens going lol

Lucy, can't wait to see your pictures. My husband bought me a new camera for my birthday. I took the instructions to work yesterday, to try and figure out how to work it. My yard at the coast is in full bloom. I wish you could see all the beautiful lollipop gerber daisies. My double brugmansia are just setting their first blooms, I hope to see my first double brugmansia bloom when I am down next weekend. This is their second year, and they are about 3 feet. I bought all my plants from ebay, as cuttings, and this will be their first year to bloom. Barbra

Lucy, I am going down next Thrusday, and plan to take a bunch of pictures, if everything is still in bloom. Kristy showed me how to post, once they are on a disk, but the problem I have, is I do not know how to get it on the disk, I have to have someone do this for me. That is what I am trying to learn, but I just can't figure it out. I really wanted you all to see my Christmas Village, and Christmas tree, but I could never get anyone to do the disk for me, so maybe next year, I will be able to do it. I really want to learn. I would love you to see my plants blooming in the winter, that is my growing season here for everything except plumeria, and vines. Barbra

Barbra putting pictures on the computer (uploading), should be very easy with your new camera.

My Camera came with a photo viewer program. I installed it. Then when I want to upload pictures. I only have to hook up the camera to the computer with the cable that came with it also.

the photo viewer program opens automatically once I turn on the camera. My old camera turned on by itself once it was hooked up.

But I also have google picasa installed. I think that is why I can upload pictures to the internet?!!

You can fire me a mail if you want to or need help. It is nice to be able to do it yourself!

It is never to late! I love x mas all year long lol

I know you can do it!!

Ok I am going to fertilize my angels now.

Yipppeeee, Lucy has a new computer!

Barbra, the first step if your camera has a scan disk (SD) and your computer is somewhat new, is take the SD out of your camera and put it in the right slot on the computer (tower) to upload/copy/view your photos. My tower has the different slots for different media in the front.
