Outstanding Christmas cactus

Micranthocereus densiflorus (syn. flavispinus) hits its flowering stride during December in northern hemisphere cultivation. My plants have never failed to present a full floral display on Christmas day during the past forty years. They bear a succession of flowers and fruit from early October until late April.

Excellent, small flowers but lots of 'em. How old/tall do these get when they start to flower. I've just germinated some Micranthocereus auri-azureus, cant wait for them to grow I love their Gold spines and blue epidermis.

They flower when they are about nine inches tall.
