Need Christmas Help Exotic Bromeliad

My mom hasn't had a bromeliad in 4 years and has been talking about it for a while. The problem is, I need a bromeliad that she would have never had before (she shops at HD) with really pretty bloom that I can keep indoors. I was thinking queens tears, does anyone have some other good ideas?
