Hey Forrest. So you are growing it outside there? What is the lowest temp you've had in the last 5 years? My coldest was 9F two winters ago. I wonder if I could grow that here? Wouldn't that be fabulous! Gorgeous flower btw!

Alan here on the coast our temps are very mild, rarely dropping below 20F. We have had a couple of nights this year in the low 20s. The lowest here at my house was 5 degrees in 1989. For a retic, 'Frank Houser' is very hardy, not nearly as tender as most other retics. I know it is being grown outside in central GA and I would bet some people in Atlanta are growing it. This is one that would certainly be worth giving a try. You could always throw an old blanket over it.
