Lallarookh or something else?

This old shrub, a real flowermaking powerhouse, was once identified to me as Lallarookh, though I'm not sure its leaves are the same as those.

The shrub is vigorous, dense, round, tall (must be 10'), and manages to do well even in more sun than it should have. Seems to churn out hundreds of flowers every year. Though you can't tell here, the flowers are often variable. Some have the whitish variegation like these, some have much more even darker pink coloration. Some look almost like formal doubles; others, like these.

Would love to know what this really is.
