Tom these are beautiful, I saw these two varieties blooming profusely in the Japanese Garden at the US National Arboretum last year. With a show like this, one wonders why everyone in the DC area doesn't have at least one camellia. Are they yours??

I would like to try growing these, where would you recommend purchasing a plant?

Hi, yes both camellias are growing in my yard. Jerry Hill has a nice near-red flower (resembles a peony) and Bette Sette is a pink formal double. Bette Sette has very good flower bud hardiness. Almost all of the buds opened. Unfortunately, the nursery where I bought them is out of business. However, I did buy 'Winter's Fire' (another excellent camellia) from Roslyn Nursery and they also list Bette Sette. 'Winter's Fire' is a fall blooming hybrid and has VIVID dark pink semi-double flowers.
