First bloom on my baby!

The whole thing:

The plant was free from the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society's "Plant Divide" held last September where PHS members could pick up free rooted perennials or shrubs. This was a 12" rooted cutting potted up and kept inside during the winter. I was surprised when it began to form buds, but I guess it thought the winter inside was spring and summer and then when put outside where it has been cool this spring, it bloomed like it was fall. LOL
