The one on the right I received by mail last spring and still haven't planted for fear that it may be some form of scale that could infect an ancient but healthy camellia japonica on my property. The middle and left leaves I picked up today at a local nursery. The nurseryman (a highly knowledgeable person), said these spots are corky scab (caused by watering problems and nothing to worry about). I'm guessing that's correct on the left one, but not so sure with the middle leaf.
I'd finally decided on a few Chansonettes, and am now desperate to do so, but I'm scared of spending the money on something infectious. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Here are some troubling leaves of fall-blooming C. hiemalis 'Shishi Gasishira' (right) and C. Hiemalis 'Chansonette'(middle and left). I'm afraid they may be something damaging and/or infectious. I could really use your help in identifying these diseases.
